Aside from being regarded by Oprah Winfrey as “the most talented girl in the world”, she is also the first Filipino and only Asian to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 album charts.
Over the top famous Charice released her self-titled international debut album last May. Charice has also confirmed to join the second season of Glee, a hit US TV musical-drama-comedy series that has drawn more than 13 million viewers.
At the age of four, Charice began her singing career when her mother begun to notice her skills in singing while performing in several singing contests in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. From then on, she has moved on from being a singer into a showbiz celebrity.
Charice got her first international appearance in the US on The Ellen de Generes Show, then came to the attention of “Hit Man” David Foster who signed her to his 143/Reprise Records, and Oprah.
