Ang Dating Daan Received Guinness World Record For The Largest Gospel Choir

Ang Dating Daan celebrated its 35th anniversary with a grand congregational singing to set the Guinness World Record for the Largest Gospel Choir with an assembly of 12,000 members. It was my first time to witness a record breaking event, Guinness World Records through worship song. Imagine standing in the middle of a large choir singing praises and thanksgiving to the Lord.

Smart Araneta Coliseum was occupied with members of ADD and special guests were Persons with Disabilities who got to experience the joy of offering songs of thanksgiving to the Lord. It was overwhelming to watch and listen as the group performed, sung and give glory to the Almighty.

Guinness Representative Fortuna Burke Melhem came to the Philippines all the way from London, United Kingdom  as its Official Adjudicator, with Iloilo 5th District Representative Niel Tupas, Jr, serving as the official witness of the event.

Around 10pm of October 22, Guinness World Records announced Ang Dating Daan as the new record holder for the Largest Gospel Choir. Congratulations ADD!
