Tomorrow night, June 16, 2012, is the big night as OPM icons Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, ZsaZsa Padilla, Regine Velasquez, and Ogie Alcasid, among others, come together to make OPM music history as they open the SM Mall of Asia Arena in its grand launch.

This once-in-a-lifetime one-night grand concert titled “
Icons at the Arena: Masters of OPM” celebrates the greatness and ingenuity of
Original Pilipino Music (
OPM).
SM MOA Arena also shared that they choose to present their Grand Launch with an OPM concert because they believe that we should be proud of our own music and promote them as well.
World-class concert artists from various generations take part in the show as mentioned above including
Basil Valdez,
Freddie Aguilar,
Christian Bautista,
Erik Santos,
Juris,
Jed Madela,
Piolo Pascual,
Bamboo,
Arnel Pineda, and the singing group,
The Company.

Icons at the Arena will be hosted by
Jim Paredes and
Pops Fernandez graced by comic TV personalities
Pokwang,
Jose Manalo, and
Wally Bayola.
OPM Icons is staged by
ABS-CBN’s
Star Events, this will be held tomorrow -
June 16 (
Saturday),
8pm at the
SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Mr.
Johnny Manahan is the director while Mr.
Ryan Cayabyab is the musical director.
